Spring Has Sprung

Resident Kissing The Easter Bunny

Spring has arrived in Springvale! We celebrated the arrival of spring by decorating our main foyer, and we also started work in the garden, planting flower beds and topping up our bird feeders. With the warmer weather just around the corner, we will be sure to utilise our outdoor space by hosting outdoor activity sessions and garden parties.

We organised an Easter raffle in April and all money raised will go directly to our resident's funds. We are appreciative of everyone who purchased raffle tickets.

On Easter Sunday residents had a lovely visit from the easter bunny with smiles all around. Our Easter celebrations went down a treat, with plenty of laughs and food... mainly chocolate!

Celebrating special days and events at our care home is essential for the well-being of our residents. We believe it provides a sense of community and belonging and helps them to maintain a connection with the outside world.

Celebrating national holidays can also create a positive and uplifting atmosphere, which can improve the mood and mental health of many individuals no matter their care needs. It also helps to promote socialisation and engagement among residents, as well as provide them with opportunities to reminisce and share memories.

We can't wait for the brighter, warmer days and we have lots of exciting things planned in the next few months for residents of our care home near Glasgow.
