Visitors to Springvale Will Now Have Their Temperature Checked on Arrival
As part of the ongoing health and safety procedures, Springvale Care Home have installed a Temperature Monitoring System to check everyone’s temperature, with the aim of keeping residents, staff and visitors safe.
This will allow anyone arriving at the home to have their temperature accurately and quickly checked and providing the reading is below 37.8 degrees, they can enter the care home. However, if the temperature is above 37.8 degrees, you will be asked to wait outside for a member of staff.
Our manager explained: “We understand while COVID-19 restrictions remain in place that people want as much reassurance as possible that everything that can be done is being done. We are therefore delighted to have this new piece of technology, which is located beside the admin office at the main entry of the home. This protective measure is a very positive step forward for the home.
“The thermal camera offers an ideal way to effectively take a temperature without any interaction with a human, and will be offered as part of a range of preventative measures such as wearing a mask and regular handwashing.”
